your website is MOBILE friendly because with so many people doing so much online with their smartphone, not
making sure your website is mobile could very easily cost you a sale! Take a second to view each of your
website pages on your smartphone (if you don't have one borrow a friend's.) If you have a webmaster and your

your website is mobile friendly! If you have a site builder and your website is not showing up properly, then

Let Your Impeccable Reputation Precede You!
Let Your Impeccable Reputation Precede You! You're awesome at what you do, right? Make sure there is
plenty of online reading material about how well you do what you do. Consumers are like military
strategists doing recon work - they research companies before they spend their hard earned money.
Incentivize current clients to write reviews of your company on your website or social media sites
(i.e. offer some service time for free, offer a discount code, or offer a free product)
and continue to watch your company’s good reputation spread faster than butter on warm toast.
Infographics Are Great Marketing Tools!
Infographics are great marketing tools! Infographics can give your marketing materials beauty
and brains! They are a creative way to connect to an audience that may be more visual. When
creating an infographic, make it both credible and visually appealing. Be sure that you do
your research and cite credible data and statistics. Then design it so that the data flows
logically and the information is easy to read. If you don't know what an infographic is,
please feel free to click here to view an example.
Customers Need Ability To Contact You!
Make Sure Your Customers Have A Way To Contact You On Your Website! This might seem obvious, but
you'd be surprised how many people forget to add contact details to their website. Not only should
you have your contact details -- at the very least your name, address, phone number and a form to
fill in -- but you need make those details are super easy to find. If website visitors have a hard
time getting in touch with you, they're not going to buy from you. Make sure you give clear
instructions on your contact form (if you choose to use one) so it's easy to send.
A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words!
A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words! Image marketing is a natural fit for visually rich businesses
like photography, design and fashion. However, every business can take advantage of the visual
trend with a little creativity. You just have to make sure that the images relate to what you are
trying to communicate. You shouldn't have only images and no text and you shouldn't have only text
and only a few images. You should strike a balance having both! TEXT and IMAGE EQUALITY! If you
can strike a healthy balance between the two you will keep customers on your website and you will
educate them about what you offer all at the same time!
Use "Power Words" In Headlines!
Use "Power Words" to Make a Hot Headline! When writing a headline or title of something like a
blog post, contest coming up, discounts or special offers, or just telling about your new
products on Facebook or social media accounts.... use "power words" to create an emotional
connection with your reader. Customers are constantly overwhelmed with communications that you
need to make your email, landing page or blog stand out. "Power words" such as announcing,
breakthrough, innovative, and sale will encourage your readers to take a closer look.
The Key To Social Networking!
Consistency is the key to social networking! Keep your social media visitors engaged by being
actively present. Update each social media networking site accounts regularly with attractive
posts, images, and tweets to keep your followers up to date with real-time information. Long
lulls between posts may cause people to lose interest (I know I go MIA sometimes when my work
load is heavy.) but daily updates are enough to hold their attention! Keep your customer's
attention... and product sales will surely follow!
Like Your Posts On Facebook!
Like Your Posts On Facebook! If you are lagging in your facebook feed and wondering if anyone is
even seeing any of your facebook posts... you might want to give yourself a boost by liking your
own posts! That's right! It may sound ridiculous (and even somewhat boastful) but there is a
reason for it! When you post on Facebook and like your own posts... it reaches the facebook
feed faster than if you didn't like your own post. The object is getting your posts seen!
The same goes for your comments as well! : ) So, what are you waiting for? LIKE your own posts!
Don't Be A Know It All!
Don't Be A Know It All! I know it's easy to say... but very hard to do... especially when you are
an expert in your field! However, regardless of the difficulty.... you still have to try! To be
good at what you do... your profession... you do not need or have to know everything about
everything! You don't even have to know 1/2 of everything. What you need to do is know
everything about YOUR specific product niche or specialty service that you provide.
Be "In The Know".... not a "Know It All"!
Don't Talk About Yourself Too Much!
Don't Talk About Yourself Too Much! Your marketing message is not and should not be about you or
what you do. Your marketing message should be about what your target audience is going through
and what they desire to be, have or do. Make sure your marketing message is aimed at fulfilling
that desire, whatever it may be. If you sell insurance, for example, emphasize how your product
can bring them comfort in times if crisis. If you sell baby items, emphasize how your products
can keep their child safe, warm, or clean. It's all in the presentation! Connect with them!
Stand Out! Send A Note!
Customers often expect cards offering discounts, amounts off sale items, and/or gifts during
the winter holidays (well... actually holidays in general), when your message is just one of
dozens they receive. Stant out and be noticed! Customers won't expect a note sent off-season,
such as in Spring or Summer. So go ahead, send a Thank You when they least expect it and you'll
truly stand out and your customer will feel special! They might even show their appreciation by
purchasing something from you! Now how great would THAT be!?! Pretty great in my book!
Don't Get Too Social Too Soon!
Don't Get Too Social Too Soon! If you're just getting started in massive social media world, pick
a social media site that you feel comfortable with and that your business competitors are using.
Develop a strategy and use this social media site to the fullest! Concentrate! Once you've
mastered this site, then consider branching out. If you join too many sites at once you'll feel
overwhelmed and your post quality will suffer. Not good. So be careful! Don't spread yourself
too thin and end up sounding insincere! Social networking should always go at a comfortable pace.
Deliver on Your Commitments!
Deliver on Your Commitments! Always keep your promises! When working with your customers, whether
new or returning, be sure that when you make commitments you can deliver on them. There is no
faster way to lose customers than making promises that you cannot keep. This is true whether you
are quoting a price on a project, offering to have a product delivered on a certain day or stating
project specifications. Say what you are going to do and do what you say. When you have a
reputation of being honest and keeping your promises, people trust that you will do right by them.
Without your customer's trust, you don't have a business.
Never Just Blindly Believe!
Never just blindly believe what you read... especially when you think it might be too good to be
true! Google reported that a scam was going on when a complaint from a consumer was supposedly
contacted by Google (which Google knew NOTHING about). The person received an email which claimed
the consumer had been chosen from other Google account holders to win a prize as part of the
Google 11th Anniversary Promotion. But to receive the prize, the consumer needed to supply some
personal information, including their name, address and date of birth. Please keep in mind that
legitimate businesses will not contact you in this way, and won't ask for your personal
information. Before you react.... be in the KNOW... do your research! : )
